ABOUT CARIBBEAN CUISINE
Caribbean food is inspired by a diversity of cultures. At its core are the original recipes used by those people who inhabited the islands before European sailors came along. The food is a fusion of African, Amerindian, European, East Indian, Arab and Chinese cuisines brought from many different countries when those peoples came to the Caribbean. In addition, the population has innovated recipes now unique to the region. We serve at least 4 of the top ten BBC recommended foods to try when visiting the Caribbean in the form of Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Rice & Peas, Goat*.
